Flat’s Fling Kayak Fishing Jamboree for HEROES ON THE WATER has been announced for April 12-14, 2012. The event will be based at Susquehanna State Park Campground, near Havre De Grace, Maryland. This is strictly a Catch, Photo, and Release (CPR) event to raise funds and awareness for this heroic charity. In keeping with the Jamboree spirit of things, this event is to promote the camaraderie found in kayak fishing and to simply have a great time. A pig roast is planned for the award and HERO recognition ceremony on Saturday, April 13 at 4:00PM.

Monthly Fish-N-Meets:  Fish-N-Meets will be held from 0800-1200 each month.  The Fish-N-Meets are fun gatherings for participants, volunteers and family members to meet each other and learn about how and where to kayak fish in our area. We will meet and fish at a different location each month, followed by a social gathering.

Tournaments: We will attempt to provide a contingent from our Chapter to the NCKFA and Yakfish tournaments. Both of these organizations are great supporters of Heroes on the Water. It is important that we participate in their events.
